Simply and healthy, 2 to 3 days later, a delicious wholesome fish for a busy week night.
What you need:
2 pieces of blue eyed cod fillet or any firm fish of your choice
2 Tbsp Mirin (Japanese sweet Wine)
2 Tbsp Water (or chicken stock)
1.5 Tbsp White Miso Paste
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1. To make the marinate: on low heat, mix in mirin, water, miso paste and sugar until all melted and well mixed.
2. Rinse and dry the fish; in a sealed container, smear the paste onto the fish fillets until the fish is totally submerged with the marinate paste for 3 days.
3. Scrap off the marinate and grilled the fish until well cooked. Served with a slice of lemon, some grated radish.
