Vegetarian Moussaka

This recipe is good for both vegetarian and meat lovers.  If you want meat, just substitute Tempeh with Minced lamb and it is good to go.

 

What you need:
500g Tempeh (blended to the consistency as minced lamb)
800g Cream Potato (sliced)
2~3 Large Eggplants
400g Diced Tomato (Tinned tomato will do)
1Tbs Tomato paste
3 Bay Leaves
pinch of cinnamon
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Dried Oregano
Some fresh rosemary (optional)

 

Bechamel Sauce:
1 Cub Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
1 Cub Parmesan Cheese (shredded)
850ml Milk
250g Butter
250g Plain Flour
